That Red

One single dory painted in a cadmium red light captivates everyone who looks at the harbor area in Provincetown. It is an unmistakable color contrast of the orange against the deep pthalo blue of the sky-reflected water that causes even the art-allergic to notice. And I felt I needed to put that reaction down in paint asap so I could move beyond that striking vibrance.
