The bands of blues and warm green tones are familiar to anyone who has spent time staring out at the vastness of the ocean waterfront in New England. And the interruption of the stillness is commonly a working lobster boat heading out for the day, its engine humming a low note while it pushes forth. I love the simple geometry of the design of these boats as well as the horizontal layers of water they cut through.
