Brilliant sunlight washes out the detail and reflected light bounces all over the white surfaces making it a challenge to bring definition to the shapes. Shadows are qutie bright and the high key colors of the buoys bring a stopping point for the eye before moving up to the wheel and fisherman. Sky and water frame the whites.
