Reflecting on Summer

These small sailboats are ready for the day waiting as sun and landscape reflections play in the water surrounding them heightened by the under painted textured surface. This piece was inspired by a series of works based on Raking Light Across, a large piece that included more land masses and a different kind of lighting situation.
