Morning Light Shadows

Puzzle-like design of buildings that comprise the lighthouse hill on Monhegan Island, Maine. Diagonals of shade move the eye around the piece--warm colors to cool colors and even warmer in the orange grasses at the left. There are a myriad of paintings in the world done of this motif each artist looking at the same inspiration but handling it differently each time. My work is yet one more.
