Unframed. Repeat pattern of wharf pilings create a structure to link classic waterfront shapes together. Large grey building at right lit by bright sunlight appears to be same value as sky. Impressionistic handling of buoys, buildings and boat along with dry piling verticals tie the foreground, mid- and background together.
