Backlighting on a brilliant sunny day gives this piece an almost washed out look. As I positioned myself to take a quick snapshot of this scene, the porch located in Cundy's Harbor Maine, showcases how the sun creates wonderful shadows while it bleaches out the red roof to pink. And the commonly seen American flag waves beautifully in the backlighting.
