Riverside Morn

After a day of sketching this waterfront in Portsmouth NH I tackled this large format piece based on those sketches. I enjoyed working with various brick colors as well as greens of roofing and water. In reaction to the geometry of the scene I chose to work in a more painterly fashion to create this impression.
