Another Good Day 2
by Ann Trainor Domingue
I took another hard look at this painting and decided it needed some adjustments. It appeared overall too busy in pattern of color and shapes. I decided to rework and reduce the visual busyness to bring more focus to the upper warm white area with the sun-like moon-like circles in motion across the sky. I added subtle parallel wavy lines scratched into the paint to soften the edge of the upper and lower part of the painting. Now I feel the dramatic curves in lower half flow much better into the surface/sky area. The story stays the same but my vision for it changed for the better.
