Tumbled Through

This enlarged snail shell drawing gives us a peek at what is under the ‘perfect’ shells found on beaches everywhere. I happen to like the cracked and worn shells so I can see the details of curves, glossiness, and colors inside. The irregular shapes that are worn away resemble other shapes in nature and this too is fascinating. Framed in maple floater 9x9.
