Tumbled Tide

Framed in maple floater 9x9. My love of the shapes of seashells even the cracked and broken ones are the inspiration for this small format series. I created the collage on first layers then added the drawing using acrylic ink using white to bring the designs and patterns of the shells to the top surface. It was a fun experiment as I am looking to retain more of the drawing in my final work. Hope you enjoy.
