This painting was all about rich pinks and reds until I decided I needed to modify it and minimize the arch of the bridge. I am much more pleased with the subtle coloration and how the bridge becomes part of the land and waterscape. The activity of the seagulls flying everywhere adds a bit of energy and sense of wind blowing across a beautiful summer day.
