Waiting for the Tide Portsmouth NH

Loose style drawing with acrylic transparent color brings a sense of age and activity to this classic lineup of tug boats in Portsmouth Harbor, NH. Process to make was a bit different for me. I drew with black marker all the line you see in the finish. Then I flipped the paper over and found I liked the softened line better than the rich black. I then layered acrylic overall to create a softened atmosphere.
