Village Feels Like Home

This village painting is a continuation of a longstanding series of waterfront and land-based villages around New England. Although most are not of specific locations I do try to incorporate cool landscape and building details I find interesting in primarily New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. I usually play with details and intentionally place things in not real ways to satisfy my need for creating an interesting design or composition. This painting is nowhere in particular, but everyone will find a way to find something familiar in it.
