This small work allows a drawing in dark pencil to be evident in the final piece. Normally I use pencil to draft a design and then rarely leave it to be seen in the final work. I have continued my longstanding series of imagery inspired by the seacoast, while bringing a hand-drawn statement into the composition to suggest my thought process. The short title is 'Today'.
