Village Twilight

This piece evolved from a sketch into this image of showing both daylight and evening light. The arc of the bridge appears to envelope the village below in a gesture of safety and calm. Day after day the Portsmouth waterfront works to bring the sense of activity and peacefulness as evening comes.
