Going About the Day
by Ann Trainor Domingue
The underpainting of this piece is part of an earlier painting that I have reworked a couple of times. I am finally satisfied with the overall design of this piece. I kept the main figure of the fisherman and changed everything else about earlier iterations. I now have balanced the strong design of the fisherman with the other bold images of birds and boats, adding a curvy hank of rope to connect areas of the piece.
