Wonderful World

I have held on to this painting for a couple of years as I loved the simplicity of color and design. I handcut deli paper and glued with acrylic medium to the surface of the wood that had been sealed with clear gesso. Then a few layers of acrylic to create an overall design in muted colors resulted in a powerful design yet simplified view of what can be complex waterfront seascapes.
