The Good Journey

The fish house portion of this piece is a mixed media painting I completed last year but wasn't totally satisfied with the result. I decided to cut out a section of it and place it as a collage onto this wood panel. I then painted over and added color to background along with layers of acrylic mediums and more color. I now like the overall design much better and hope you'll see it as an interesting surface and motif.
