A good friend asked me to do a painting that included all three bridges that cross from Portsmouth New Hampshire to Kittery Maine. I had completed at least 20 other villages in a similar style but never included all the bridges in their newest designs as they've been reconstructed recently. It was a challenge to include them all as well as the city and working waterfronts below, as well s the busy riverway that connects both states. I've designed this so the expansiveness of the bridges cross over the fast flowing river while keeping a playful sense of the activity of life that goes on daily below the bridges. Hope you enjoy my view.
