This is a very busy composition suggesting the liveliness of living near a salt water river that is home to the fishing industry, a Naval Shipyard, many homes and condos, all kinds of restaurants and eateries, historic parks and entertainment venues-- and much more. This quilt-like view of life along the waterfront is my sense of many activities all going on at the same time. I'm sure there are quiet times but its this complex active lifestyle that I am drawn to.
