Framed maple floater. This piece is another exploration of using layers of acrylic paint, creating texture with different tools, sanding back to expose color and pattern, while still holding onto a sense of space and the idea of sailing. So may things going on in this as I worked out a design that settled into a good variation of shape and blue tones.
