Moments We Live For

The title came from a song I found when I was adding music to an Instagram post. I always try to give my work a title that will let a viewer have space to think about what the image and title could mean for them. I am intentionally vague as I use the advice suggested by painter Brian Rutenberg of NYC, to 'broaden the viewer's experience with the piece.' This statement has helped me immensely in marrying my visual art with a broader idea of what the painting became in the painting process. This painting can be understood in many ways and will hopefully resonate with someone who sees something special in it for them.
