Right Beside You

By adding an overall glaze of transparent orange I unified the underpainting tones of yellow, soft blue, and light raw sienna. I like the way the rich orange was held by the raised texture of the underpainting bringing a much warmer tone to my frequently cool color palette. I'm using the same kinds of imagery I usually use in my work while exploring a different way of layering on paint that has resulted in a warmer overall tone.
