I have reworked this painting from a previously shown piece. The color scheme was a magenta and blue and had not been a favorite of mine. So as I have often done I rework it to bring recently learned techniques and ideas to try to create a better painting. By eliminating a lot of the previous painting but using the textured surface to my advantage, I have found a much stronger overall design and a range of marks that have resulted in a more engaging piece. Note: this photo appears a bit dark. The greyed out white is actually much brighter white.
