My interpretation of the weathered surfaces of the set of buildings along the water at the Custom House wharf behind Portland Lobster Co. It's a smelly but action-packed location if the boats are delivering the catch. Very entertaining with seagulls screeching and swooping down to hopefully have lunch. The old nature of the buildings including the sagging rooflines, worn paint, and weatherworn surfaces all provide an imperfect set of shapes, lighting and surfaces for me to play with in my work.
