The energy in this piece comes from the vibration of the colors blue and red orange along with the middle blue background tone. Its a juggling act to design a successful painting. Sometimes all the spinning plates simply fall to pieces. Sometimes a balance is found to keep the piece in a kind of balance where elements work together as my eye travels across the surface. there are multiple days represented here and the seagull is still waiting...
