Waiting for the Tide 2

Many layers of paint lie beneath the surface of this painting. It has taken a while for me to find the right design balance for the elements I wanted to include in this piece. Allowing the large blue area at the lower portion to compliment the busy upper area was what finally has brought this small work to finish.
