Village Roadtrip

I frequently combine buildings and landscape to create an environment that shows interesting details of what I have seen in my nearby area. this painting has details included of snapshots I took as we headed home from far northern Pittsburg, NH through Vermont along the Connecticut River valley. I literally stick my compact camera out the window to capture a fleeting moment (I'm a passenger though :). I then abstract details or landscape shapes to build a 'village' as in this painting.
