Framed in floater. I didn't think the look of recognition on the dog's face would become the key moment in this painting, but it did. His gesture evolved as I worked on the subtle detail in this piece. His owner is also looking out with expectation of seeing a friend heading their way. From the simple sketch to this final piece a love story happened.
