Our Life Together

Framed in charcoal gray floater style. I've long been a fan of batik, interlocking patterns of African fabrics, aboriginal patterns, as well as creating my own set of patterns and marks that speak to my surroundings and home area. This painting went through many variations as I tried to balance the energies of the major shapes as they casually live together in this fictitious land and seascape. I've placed a couple in two separate spaces as though suggesting they each have their own things they love yet are together in matters of the heart.
