Tethered

In an effort to winnow down aspects in my work, I have selected large shapes to form the foundation of a design. I then carefully choose elements that enrich to the visual story, one that I am telling yet leaving space for a viewer to interpret in their own way. I can create a painting that has meaning for me but am powerless to control other interpretations. And this is the beautiful yin yang of art as I experience it.
