Another Perfect Day

I was playing in my sketchbook working on small format thumbnails with simple shapes. That lead to this piece. I began drawing with a soft graphite stick hoping to retain the drawn lines--something that I tend to cover over by the end of an artwork. This time I am liking the freshness of the drawing along with the support of the glazes of color.
