Collected at the Wrack Line
by Ann Trainor Domingue
In this piece I have used the shapes of the buoys and explored a more abstracted design of their color and shapes. I began with a bold repeat pattern as the underpainting. I hadn't decided the direction I was going to take this idea but the graphicness of the first layers showing through is giving this piece depth and a unique take on a common sight along the New England sea coast.
