Golden Hour Moment

Framed with white mat, warm silver metal frame. This imagined piece is inspired by many sunrises and sunsets I've witnessed. The shadowed areas are so important to the overall design of the shapes. I've used various watercolor techniques including scraping into wet paint, lifting color, and layering when paper was both dry and wet. Hope you enjoy this view. Note: this image is more vibrant than the actual painting. this piece won an honorable mention at the 2021 New England Watercolor Society signature member show.
