Days Gone By

This piece began with a scrap piece of sail fabric I was given by Laura of Hoistaway Bags in York Maine. I have experimented with just what I can do with the fabric pieces especially how the zig zag overlapping fabric would adhere to this 18x18 panel. Seems it is adhered very well and I enjoyed building this heavily textured design. I've used my motifs of the waterfront to explore in a more abstract yet familiar elements. Hope you enjoy this look.
