It's Good to Be Home

Several years ago I began working with small building shapes found on the shoreline of Monhegan Island. I referred to one of those earlier works--8x10-- as I began this much larger piece 36x36. I didn't know where it would take me but the result of that journey is this painting. I enjoy working with different light conditions and combining them creating different little stories within a painting that holds together as one big or several smalls. Hope you enjoy.
