When Our Worlds Came Together

This painting feels to be a culmination of motifs and design that I have been working with over the last couple of years. I've tried in this to use elements of design such as the circular shapes as either suns or moons, and a passing of time in an arc overhead. The shapes of a dory, rooftop, and arch provide a way for me to combine work, faith and home, overlapping as the two large arches of textured light cross over one another suggesting two people's lives coming together as one. Hope you will provide your own storyline to this piece as you think about your own life.
