Island Mermaid Totem

This is painted on a solid wood panel with routered floater-style look. --I've long been interested in Alaskan totem pole imagery of wildlife, people and other images of the Northwest. In this series I am using coastal images to create a similar set of imagery that is derived from the bold design of wooden totems.
