When sailing I've been drawn to the translucency of fabrics, numbers and letters found on many sails. My interest in lettering and numbers from a career in graphic design has also influenced my choice to work with these in a new way. You'll notice subtle stitching lines and a transparency and layering of color to suggest various light conditions and dimension. Numbers and letters are random but may be meaningful to you.
