Blowing in the Wind

This painting stayed in my studio for a while recently as I kept looking at it to find what about it was bothering me and then what to do about it. I reworked the motion lines of the group of sailboats to bring more contrast and more impression of movement. I also added the sunspot to provide a sense of depth and bring some warm tones into the previously cooler underpainting. And lastly added sparkle to the water areas. Includes frame 20x38.
