I frequently paint this wharf area with bold strokes of color and wave activity. In this piece I have presented a quieter moment where the activity has settled down and the weather is calm. The tones of lavender and soft pinks of the sky and reflections bring a bit of calm before the storm in the ever-changing weather patterns of a New England fishing town.
