A Fisherman's Life (Eddie Ritter's Dory) Ptown

I found out earlier this year Eddie Ritter, a Provincetown fisherman had passed away. I did not know him but his brightly painted dory has inspired my work for many years. It was sad this summer of 2017 to not see this brilliant red orange dory floating in the harbor providing an amazing color contrast to the rich grey blues. It really seemed like something was missing for me as I noticed it daily when I spent time there during several artist residencies. I'm sure his friends miss him even more.
