Woven In Time

An active working waterfront provided more than enough options for creating a painting. Its the decision of just what to utilize that becomes the real challenge. And then interpreting it through my personal filter and try to put down in a real way what I was noticing/feeling/interpreting into an artwork. This one features backlit sunlight, work boat shapes, reflections, fisherman in his boat, piers, buoys and more. I enjoyed working out the balance of all these aspects.
