By the Dawn's Early Light / Sunnyside

Classic New England-style homes abound in my neighborhood. Just can't seem to resist the bright light crashing off the side of the house against the backdrop of rich green blues of the evergreens. Cool color shadows on the front of the house contrast with the white of the roof--which is actually dark gray shingles but the light is so strong it washes out the grays and it appears white. And I love adding the movement of the American flag on the porch--a touch of summer for sure.
