Village at the Head of the Harbor

This is one painting which is part of an ongoing new series of 'villages' of New England. I select buildings with interesting design elements and pull them together in one of these paintings. This one has buildings not only from Camden Harbor (see the bottom of the painting with the red and green boat builder/storage buildings and schooner) but has elements of York and , Monhegan Island, Maine; and Portsmouth, New Castle, Goffstown, Canterbury, and Laconia, NH. I see New England as a whole and enjoy putting various elements together in unusual ways.
