Night and Day

I have used several vignettes to build this composition across the four foot length. It incorporates concepts and design that I have been focusing on lately. I drew the basic shapes first but let the color develop as I worked. It evolved over time and I at some point was pleased with the shapes, color, design and surface textures--which meant it was time to put my paint brush down. Framed.
