This painting explores the geometry of the buildings and openings with the soft curves of the fish and people. I enjoy working with the opposing shapes and characteristics to create a painting that integrates both in a way that is not usually seen. The flowing nature of watercolor done wet-in-wet brings an added dimension and softness to an otherwise angular design. Though there are three fishermen in this they are positioned separately and may or may not be conversing together. Framed.
