Coffee's On

My new New England 'village' series was the inspiration for this watercolor painting. I wanted to try a fun whimsical take on the shapes of rooflines, waterfront and people. The ink lines drawn first, misted with water to create the feathered edges, then watercolor added. I enjoyed the resulting puzzlelike design and hope it is successful as the winner of the NH Art Association puzzle contest in 2017.
