Out of the Fog
by Ann Trainor Domingue
I have brought together stylized shapes of fishermen and shacks to build this composition. I 'drew' the linear lines by scraping the wetted paper with a wooden stick--some of the purple and blue watercolor pigments are attracted to these scraped surfaces and hold the line. I then added many layers of colors in a wet-in-wet technique creating the softened atmospheric effect in this work. Framed.
